CINEMATOGRAPHY REEL 2025

There were a few scholarships I wanted to apply for, all of which required a cinematography reel. I finally decided it was time to go through my footage from 2025—a year that took me through Kansas and Missouri, as well as trips to Florida, South Dakota, and South Carolina. Looking back, I realized how much I had captured, and more importantly, how much I had started to notice the natural beauty around me.

Most of this footage was shot casually, just pulling out my phone and filming in the moment. Rather than focusing heavily on lighting or complex composition, I let the locations and the scale of what I was seeing take center stage.

This reel feels like the most accurate representation of how I see cinematography right now. In the past, I focused on making things look bigger or more dramatic, but here I focused on choosing shots that speak for themselves. It’s simpler, more direct, and more intentional.
